What is a medium?

Julie believes a Medium is someone who has the ability to communicate with the spirit world. By the spirit world she means people, pets and other living creatures that are no longer present here.

"Yes, we communicate with the dead!" That said, Julie believes the dead are more alive than some of the living, and communication with the dead is easier than some of the living!!

Julie's mediumistic skills take many forms.

• clairvoyant - (sees spirits)
• clairaudient - (hears what spirits say)
• clairgestant - (can taste & smell what spirits feel)
• clairsentient - (feel what they feel)

None of these senses dominate Julie; they all come together at once.

However, she does find it difficult to work in noisy environments even when people may be whispering because her clairaudient skills heighten her hearing.

She believes mediumship is a wonderful gift and is not reserved for the select few. She has, and always will, encourage people to develop their sixth sense.

Just for clarification, Julie uses the terms 'in spirit', 'on the other side', 'crossed over' and 'deceased' interchangeably.

Do Julie's gifts scare her? 

Generally no, Julie meets people from all walks of life that are very interested in having readings. During these readings, once Julie has connected with the spirits, information is then shared with the client as soon as it is received. Sometimes the information is not necessarily what they want to hear. This is one of the downsides to being a psychic medium.
